This privacy policy describes how Ascent Growth Platforms Inc. (“RIA Ascent”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the RIA Ascent website (the “service”). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the service.

When you visit the site, we collect basic technical and log data automatically, such as your IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, and the pages and actions in your session, which we need to operate and secure the site. If you use the firm lookup on the home page, your IP address is also sent to our product API, where it is used only to limit how many lookups one visitor can make and is not stored.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and the service is not directed to children under 18.

2. How we use information

We use your information to respond to your inquiries, to operate, secure, and improve the site, to prevent fraud and misuse, and to comply with the law.

3. Service providers

We share information with the providers that help us run the service, under agreements that limit their use of it:

• Vercel, for website hosting and infrastructure, which serves the site and processes related network and log data.

We may also disclose information where required for legal compliance, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, under the protections of this policy.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for targeted or third-party advertising. The current site does not use artificial intelligence to process your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep the information you provide for as long as it is relevant to your relationship with us, and as long as we need it to run the service. After that, we delete or anonymize it, unless a longer period is required by law, for example for tax or accounting.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, including United States states such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to appeal a denied request.
